The Super Rocket Radar is a very rare equipment that you can find in Pokémon Go. It does not drop from Poké Stops or other locations where goods are normally obtained. Instead, it is obtained through completing one-of-a-kind Special Research tasks that emerge only at specified times.
Because these one-of-a-kind quests emerge infrequently, it’s normal to find yourself without a Super Rocket Radar and having to wait for it to reappear. Here’s all you need to know about locating a Super Rocket Radar in Pokémon Go around April 2023.
How to find a Super Rocket Radar in Pokémon Go
A Super Rocket Radar will only appear in Pokémon Go if the user has access to the From the Shadows Special Research. This quest debuted during the final week of the Let’s Go event in April and stopped dropping shortly after.
We’ve received reports that Team GO Rocket might transform their efforts and are trying to change more species of Pokémon into shadow in their schemes. Stay alert, Trainers! #RisingHeroes pic.twitter.com/VCInQp0tff

The From the Shadows Special Research is no longer available. You will not be able to obtain a Super Rocket Radar if it is not on your mission list. You’ll have to wait until the next Team Rocket Takeover event, which won’t be until the following season.
According to our observations, Team Rocket Takeover events and Giovanni only come once a season, or every three months. During the Rising Heroes event, the From the Shadows quest appeared. While the following season doesn’t start until June, we can expect Giovanni and Team Rocket to return during the summer.
If you have a Super Rocket Radar right now, Giovanni will emerge if you activate it and try to find him. He’ll have the legendary Regice on his team, which you can try to rescue and add to your collection as Shadow Regice.
