Finding The Hub Sparring Arena and Competing with Your Squad in Space Marine 2

Introduced in the Space Marine 2 3.0 patch on September 26, the Sparring Arena offers players a new way to engage with their squad for training or simply to blow off steam.

In Space Marine 2, players encounter a variety of enemies, from grotesque Tyranids to formidable Chaos Marines. However, one group you can’t take down are your so-called ‘Brothers’—the fellow Space Marines fighting alongside you. While it might seem disloyal to engage your teammates (unless they’re heretics), adding a PvP element can undoubtedly be fun.

Here’s how to locate the Sparring Arena and enjoy some friendly competition with your squad using your trusty Chainsword.

Fortunately, the Sparring Arena is located just a short distance from the main area of the Battle Barge. Follow these steps to find it:

  1. Make your way to the main ship where mission entry occurs.
  2. Look to your right for a sign indicating ‘Sector D2′.
  3. Proceed down the corridor until you encounter a small bridge.
  4. After entering through the door, combat will become active, allowing you to use your weapons.

The entrance to the Sparring Arena is marked by a large bridge featuring the Mechanicus skull symbol.

Carefully walk through the door and down the corridor. Be mindful that you will reach a point before entering the room with the bridge where your health and weapons will become active. If you rush in, you might find yourself unprepared for battle.

Once inside, you’re free to engage—so feel free to attack your squad member or establish some ground rules beforehand for a more balanced match.

Before entering, it’s advisable to ensure that your class is optimized for combat, as having the best build or class will give you an advantage against your squad.
