The Iris of Grace is an exclusive consumable that was first introduced in the Shadow of Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. It is limited to only a handful of NPCs who can receive it in order to obtain specific quest rewards.
Despite its rarity, Iris of Grace can sometimes be found in the expansive Shadow Realm within The Lands Between in the Elden Ring, as there are only a handful of known locations for it in the game thus far.
Where to Find the Iris of Grace in Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree
Iris of Grace is located at:
- Near the statue of Marika in the Tree-Worship Passage below Shadow Keep in the Church District; and
- The Stone Platform was located in the Living Jar Hall, which was underneath the Specimen Storehouse in the Shadow Keep.
Finding Marika’s Statue Below Shadow Keep
If you have reached the Church District, your primary objective is to lower the water level and reach the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
From the Church District Entrance, continue straight to reach the grace site on the roofs.
Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the path, then turn left. Next, carefully jump down onto a narrow stone bridge from the large opening in one of the roofs and continue heading west.
Continuing on, you will come across some adversaries as you take a step further, but pay them no mind and continue along the path until you reach a small archway and a ladder.
To un-flood the area, climb up the ladder and use the giant metallic wheel to turn it.
Descend and continue on your journey by passing through the arch gateway.
Proceed towards the east and engage with the Shadow Keep grace site.
Next, proceed towards the west to discover a colossal stone edifice. Continue straight from the entrance and then turn right. Here, you will come across two sets of stairs. In the middle of the stairs, there is a gate that leads to a stone elevator.
As you step off this elevator, you will enter a cave. Navigate through the cave to reach a long, narrow bridge constructed from wooden planks at the end.
The Iris of Grace is located in front of a giant statue of Marika. To obtain it, simply cross the bridge and collect the Iris.
3. Finding the Living Jar Hall in Shadow Keep
The Specimen Storehouse can be found to the northeast of the Shadow Keep Maingate, near the site of grace. Start by heading to the first floor of the Specimen Storehouse, and then make your way to the aforementioned grace site.
After going through the gate on the left, take the wooden elevator down. Once you reach the bottom, exit through the gateway and enter the left entrance to discover a balcony.
Descend from the balcony and locate an elevated stone platform directly beneath it. The Iris of Grace can be found on this platform.
How to Use the Iris of Grace in Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree
The Fire Knight Queelign can receive the Fire Knight Queelign Spirit Ash by giving the Iris of Grace, and the Swordhand of Night Jolán can obtain the Swordhand Of Night Jolán Spirit Ash by the same method.
The spirit ashes can be obtained by completing certain questlines that guide you to the two NPCs who offer them as a reward.
Moreover, there is an alternative item known as the Iris of Occultation, which can be given to the same two individuals for access to a distinct range of weapons. However, if you frequently utilize spirit ashes, it is advisable to provide them with the Iris of Grace.
