Menu lag in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team can be incredibly frustrating, hindering players from completing even basic tasks. Fortunately, there is a straightforward fix that can alleviate this issue.
Players have experienced significant menu lag in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, compounded by inaccurately set price ranges. Numerous meta cards became extinct for days because their maximum prices were set far below their true value.
This created challenges for players attempting to snipe these extinct cards from the Transfer Market, as the lag made the process much more difficult. Although EA has responded to community feedback by adjusting price ranges, the delay still persists.
However, players can implement a simple workaround to enhance their gaming experience.
How to Fix Ultimate Team Menu Lag in EA FC 25
- Start the main EA FC 25 menu.
- Click the cog icon in the top left, labeled ‘Customise.’
- Select ‘Settings‘ and then ‘Game Settings.’
- For Xbox, press RB or R1 for PlayStation to navigate to ‘Graphics Mode.’
- Choose ‘Favour Resolution‘ within the Graphics Mode settings.
Both graphics modes aim for 60 frames per second, ensuring a smooth gameplay experience. However, Enhanced Visuals adds extra graphical elements that inadvertently affect the speed of the Ultimate Team menus.
Switching this setting to Favour Resolution eliminates these additional features, leading to a noticeably better menu scrolling experience.
While players may miss out on enhanced lighting from ray-tracing during matches, the ability to navigate menus quickly often takes precedence.
As of now, EA has not issued an official statement regarding the menu lag in Ultimate Team, but we will keep you updated on any future fixes.
