Sandra Jeenie Kwon is a flight attendant with a huge following of over ten million on TikTok. On August 13, she shared a video breaking down the biggest mistakes people make while flying.
“She began by informing me that the FAA has the authority to fine flight attendants up to $10,000 from their own personal funds.”
“While on a plane, if a flight attendant requests that you stow your bag underneath the seat in front of you, refrain from holding your child if they are over the age of two, or move your dog if they are obstructing the aisle, it is important to comply and follow their instructions.”
“According to the speaker, neglecting to request that you fasten your seat belt, stow your bag under the seat, or adjust your tray table and seat could result in a fine of $10,000 from the FAA, should they be present on the flight.”

Following the posting of the video, which has amassed approximately 80,000 views, viewers were divided in their opinions about the air hostess’ revelations. However, numerous individuals expressed their agreement with Sandra’s perspective.

Sandra was asked another question regarding special needs children, specifically about a three-year-old daughter who tends to attempt to leave her seat and requires someone to hold her.
“Sandra explained that the majority of FA regulations were implemented as a result of past emergency, evacuation, or crash scenarios. Therefore, she chose not to elaborate on what she witnessed, stressing the importance of adhering to these regulations for safety purposes.”
It is not the first instance of a flight attendant gaining viral fame on TikTok. In a separate video, an FA disclosed the reasons behind passengers being removed from flights.
