On TikTok, a woman gained widespread attention for documenting her uncomfortable flight experience, being squeezed between two men.
Model Erin Rempel shared a video on TikTok from her recent flight, showcasing her experience of being sandwiched between two men who seemed determined to make her feel even more uncomfortable in her cramped middle seat.
In the video, the model’s legs are squeezed together while her male neighbors on both sides confidently spread their legs into her seating area. The man on Erin’s right even has his legs tensely pushed up against hers.
In the midst of it all, the melody of Swan Lake resonates in the background, accompanied by a furious scream that amplifies Erin’s frustration towards her thoughtless neighbors who squished her.
Erin exclaimed in the caption overlay of the video, which has currently amassed 17 million views on TikTok at the time of writing, questioning the need for such a large space.

Erin also mentioned in the video description that she attempted to ask one of her seatmates to move, but her efforts were unsuccessful. She expressed that the experience left her filled with “female rage.”
The news of the space invasion received negative reactions from TikTok users, who quickly took to the comment section to share their opinions. One individual wrote, “Isn’t personal space something people should know about?”
Another individual countered, stating, “They likely do it intentionally to also inappropriately touch you. Their behavior is a result of your compliance, so you must assert yourself or they will continue to exploit you.”
“Another user encouraged, “Please stand up for yourself,”remarking on how loudly they would be shouting.”
Many comments also defended the two men by arguing that sitting with their legs spread out was more comfortable for men.
Several weeks passed and Erin posted a follow-up video in which she expressed her disappointment with the lack of comments from her female followers, adding a crying emoji to convey her emotions about the situation.
