The name of the second Research Day event in the World of Wonders season is Flock Together Research Day, and it centers on Flying-type Pocket Monsters.
The Flock Together Research Day will take place on May 11th for a duration of three hours, starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 5:00 PM local time. All highlighted Pocket Monsters and wild encounters will belong to the Flying type. It is recommended to Mega-Evolve a Flying-type Pokemon beforehand to earn additional rewards.
Benefits
- During the event, players can participate in field research tasks with a themed focus. Upon successfully completing a task, you will encounter a Pocket Monster of the Flying type.
- Take advantage of this opportunity to evolve a select Flying-type Pokemon, as it will have a higher chance of being shiny.
- There will be a surplus of Flying-type Pokemons in their natural habitat.
- Exclusive Timed Research for events can be found in the game shop.
Wild Spawns
The most impressive wild spawns you can expect to come across during Flock Together Research Day are:
- In its final evolution form, Pidgey becomes Pidgeot. In a PvPoke battle, this Pocket Monster typically comes out as the winner. Your deciding move in a fight could be either Brave Bird or Feather Dance.
- Wingull evolves into Pelipper, which possesses impressive skills. Its Nuke attack can inflict near-lethal damage on unshielded opponents.
- Fletchling has two evolutionary forms that could prove beneficial to you: Fletchinder (middle) and Talonflame (final). Talonflame’s signature move, Incinerate, may be a slower 5-turn attack, but it deals significant damage.
