The ongoing dispute between HYBE and ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin has given rise to a fresh round of demonstrations, this time focused on Pledis Entertainment, which is a subsidiary of HYBE.
The FLOVERs, devoted fans of the famous girl group fromis_9, have organized a 3-day demonstration on the streets and various social media platforms to protest against what they believe to be neglect and mistreatment by PLEDIS.

Ever since Lee Da Hye became CEO of Pledis Entertainment in 2022, fans have been expressing their disappointment in the lack of support and promotion for fromis_9.
In an official announcement in both Korean and English, Flover Global Alliance expressed their dissatisfaction, citing problems such as reduced frequency and quality of content releases, unexpected delays in comebacks, lack of support during album promotions, neglect of international fanbases, and frequent reuse of stage costumes.

Flover Global Alliance members have called for transparency and accountability from both Lee Da Hye and PLEDIS by using hashtags like #LeeDaHye_explain_dereliction_of_duty and #PLEDIS_announce_detailed_promotions. .
Their requests consist of a comprehensive strategy outlining the CEO’s plans to aid fromis_9, clarification on the decline in support since her appointment, and guarantees that her connections with HYBE’s chairman, Bang Si Hyuk, have no impact on her choices concerning the group.
“Fans were upset and couldn’t understand why they were treating the group like this even when they had voiced how much they want to perform and make a comeback.”
The protest grew stronger after PLEDIS’ visual director resigned, which only added to fans’ speculation and discontent.
The company’s resignation has only amplified the chaos surrounding it, causing fans to express concerns about the stability and direction of fromis_9’s future ventures.
