A food influencer on TikTok received criticism for going to an $80 buffet and disregarding the staff’s instructions, resulting in wasted heaps of lobster on multiple plates.
Lewis, known as ‘mister.lewis’ on his social media platform of choice, identifies as a “luxury connoisseur”and regularly shares content with his 1.6 million followers of himself indulging in extravagant purchases.
Lewis has a tendency to splurge, whether it’s by ordering the priciest item on a restaurant menu or reserving the most expensive room on a cruise ship.
Despite this, a visit to a Las Vegas casino resulted in the TikToker getting into trouble when he used stacks of lobster, offered at an $80 buffet, for the sake of creating content.

The footage captures Lewis returning to his table with a serving of lobster, followed by a scene where a manager reminds him that he cannot have more until he finishes what he has already taken. The camera then shows three plates on the table, each piled high with lobster, accompanied by two bowls of butter and a plate of lemon slices.
Despite Lewis’ insistence that the rules only stated “one per plate,”he began arguing with the staff member. However, the manager maintained their patience and calmly explained that there was a sign clearly detailing how the buffet worked.
As other customers became more involved, one woman even snapped a photo of Lewis’ purchases while another advised him to use “common sense”. Despite this, Lewis remained adamant that he was not in the wrong.
“Lewis’ voiceover exclaimed, “The casino that is taking all of your money has an issue with me enjoying some all-you-can-eat lobster? Don’t mess with me,”as the video displayed him pouring butter onto the crustaceans.”
The last segment exposed that he was unable to complete all of the lobster, as Lewis was seen dumping two full plates into a bin while a staff member repeatedly reminded him that he was not allowed in that area.
The TikTok sparked outrage among viewers, with the comments filled with hate as Lewis was branded a “clown”for his “attention-seeking”behavior. One comment even described him as “one of the most unbearable people ever.”
After watching Lewis’ video, one person expressed their dislike for individuals like him, stating that it showcased the “negative side of humanity.”Another person echoed this sentiment when they reposted the TikTok on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “This is the reason why food influencers are disliked.”
