The official Pokemon site has treated the Pokemon TCG community to several exciting card reveals in anticipation of the upcoming Stellar Crown expansion.
One card that has caught the community’s eye showcases an unexpected star – Crabominable. The Woolly Crab Pokemon typically goes unnoticed by the community due to its lackluster design and weak attacks, but it has recently received a bit of a transformation with the reveal of the Stellar Crown.
Despite being teased by some members of the community, Crabominable (149/142) received a mostly positive response from eager fans when it popped up on X, with many expressing their excitement for the cuddly crustacean.

The frosty new card was praised by Pokemon reporter @PokeJungle, who commented, “It really makes Crabominable look epic.”The ethereal design seemed to surprise them.
A player of Pokemon TCG commented, “Wow, that’s really nice,”while another shared the card and wrote, “The artwork is amazing, even for the ugliest Pokemon.”
The feeling was echoed by others, including one enthusiastic fan who exclaimed, “The artwork on this card is incredible, it’s just a shame it features Crabominable.”While Crabrawler’s evolution may not be a top choice among fans, its potential in competitive play may sway some doubters.
Despite its high cost of 4 Colorless Energy and 1 Water Energy, Haymaker is a formidable Attack that has the potential to deal a massive 250 damage and take down opponents in one hit.
The Food Prep Ability complements Kofu perfectly, reducing the Energy cost by 1 Colorless for each Kofu card in the Discard Pile. While it may have limited use, it has the potential to be a powerful tool in the right deck-building strategies.
The synergy between certain cards on X caused discomfort for some Pokemon TCG players, leading one to comment, “I really like Crabominable! But does the Food Prep card imply that he eats Kofu?”
Despite being heavily memed by the community, Crabominable has the potential to become a rare and sought-after card for collectors upon the release of Stellar Crown. Illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, it boasts a unique aesthetic that sets it apart from the rest of the expansion set.
