Former Boxer Accuses Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Fight of Being a Fix

Former world champion Carl Froch has accused the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight of being a “fix”.

Despite being a three-time world super-middleweight champion, ‘The Cobra’ has been vocal in his disapproval of Paul’s skills and has not hesitated to share his opinions on his highly-anticipated bout against Tyson.

27-year-old Paul will face off against 57-year-old Tyson, who is thirty years his senior, in a professional fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, July 20. The event will be streamed live on Netflix.

Despite criticisms from critics, both fighters are anticipated to receive generous pay for the bout. However, some have expressed disapproval towards Paul, who holds a 9-1 record, for choosing to fight Tyson, who has not held a world championship title since 1996 and has been absent from professional fighting since 2005.

Therefore, numerous experts and fighters have expressed their worries about Tyson’s well-being during the fight, with former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder going as far as to speculate that he may end up in a coma.

Contrary to concerns raised by others, Froch remains unworried and has even proposed that the fight be prearranged in the contract, ensuring a victory for Paul and thus allowing him to pursue his boxing career further.

Froch confidently stated to Lord Ping that he was not concerned about Mike Tyson, as Jake Paul lacks the ability to fight. According to Froch, none of Paul’s knockouts can be considered legitimate.

“His opponents in his knockouts were clearly inexperienced and lacked proper training. He is completely ineffective, lacking technique, style, balance, offense, defense, and the ability to strategically set up his punches.”

“I have no doubt that Mike will make a full recovery. In my opinion, Wilder’s statement about Mike being at risk of a coma is exaggerated. Wilder seems to be getting carried away and giving Jake more credit than he deserves. While I do believe that Mike has a chance of winning, Jake’s youth may ultimately triumph over age.”

It is likely that a script will be included in the contract. This is a necessary precaution. Mike will approach the fight with a similar strategy as he did against Roy Jones, focusing on timing rather than trying to inflict harm on Jake, as seen in the Roy fight.

“I believe he is receiving a good salary, and the instruction will be to take his time and avoid making any foolish decisions.”
