On August 16th, CEO Sung Hyun-soo of Snow Company announced in an official press release that their company will fully support Kim So-hye in order for her to continue showcasing her outstanding talents and further her growth.
In 2016, Kim So-hye made her debut as a member of I.O.I, a group created through Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 1″competition. She quickly became a beloved figure in the K-pop community. Following the group’s disbandment, Kim So-hye transitioned to acting and has since appeared in numerous dramas including “Poetry Story”, KBS Drama Special “Kang Deok-soon’s Love History”, and “Best Chicken”. With each project, she has steadily gained recognition and support from fans online.
Despite it being her first movie role, Kim So-hye received praise for her outstanding performance as Sae-bom, a high school student who embarks on a journey with her vibrant and youthful energy, in the film “Moonlit Winter”. This marked her successful debut in the film industry. Building on this success, she went on to star in “How to Buy a Friend”, “Strang School Tales: The Child Who Would Not Come”, and “My Lovely Boxer”.
Kim So-hye will be making her return to the small screen in the second half of this year with tvN’s “O’PENING 2024 – Beautiful Summer” after joining a new agency. Fans have high hopes for her performance, as she is known for her ability to deliver emotional lines and is expected to captivate viewers with her portrayal of a midsummer youth in the series.
