According to a former employee of MrBeast, who served as Ava Kris Tyson’s assistant, she has stated that she was “coerced”and sexually assaulted during her time working there.
On July 21, allegations were made against Ava, accusing her of “grooming”a fan named LavaGS. As a result, Ava stepped down from the MrBeast channel and Jimmy Donaldson announced that a third-party investigation would be launched.
Despite initially defending Ava, LavaGS eventually acknowledged that certain aspects of their interactions were “inappropriate.”Since then, additional individuals have come forward with accusations against the YouTuber.
On July 27, Jess, who used to work for MrBeast and is known as ‘Mooskina’ online, posted on X (previously known as Twitter) about her encounter with Ava. She alleged that she was sexually assaulted and felt pressured due to the power dynamic involved.

According to Jess, her initial interaction with Ava occurred in 2022 when Ava followed her on Twitter. The two bonded over discussions about HRT and the potential opportunity of being featured in a MrBeast video. It has been claimed that their relationship quickly turned sexual and involved Ava using “love-bombing” tactics to make Jess feel like she was the most significant person in her life.
According to Jess, this resulted in the two of them meeting in person and engaging in a sexual relationship where Ava “never reciprocated”. Although Jess initially left when she discovered that Ava was unable to cast anyone in a MrBeast video, she eventually returned when she was hired as an assistant. The two then moved in together and reportedly resumed their sexual relationship.
“Jess described feeling “coerced”as she had recently moved in with Ava and left her job to become her assistant. She felt that saying no could potentially jeopardize her job or result in her being asked to leave.”
Despite presenting alleged messages that appeared to indicate a mutual decision to maintain a strictly platonic relationship, Jess asserted that Ava still maintained a certain level of boundary-crossing behavior, given their power dynamic.
Although they were never officially designated as partners, Jess revealed that she and Ava developed a strong emotional bond, causing her to believe that they had a unique connection. However, when Ava entered a new relationship, Jess made the decision to move out, ultimately resulting in her losing both her living situation and job.
Jess disclosed the full extent of her relationship with Ava to HR after which she discovered that Ava had not been completely honest with them. This prompted MrBeast to initiate a third-party investigation into the situation.
Despite it being the current time, Jess has not received any updates since she was promised an investigation. The accusations regarding Ava’s involvement with LavaGS emerged in the weeks after Jess left the company.
Jess asserted, “I am not seeking hush money or clout. All I desire is the opportunity to move forward and put this chapter behind me.”
