Former MrBeast Employee Alleges Wrongful Termination Due to Toxic Workplace Culture

Another ex-employee of MrBeast has spoken out against the YouTuber, asserting they were wrongfully terminated and alleging further misconduct.

The MrBeast controversy continues, with another former employee of the YouTube star claiming they were illegally dismissed and alleging that the content creator maintained a “toxic” work environment.

Numerous allegations have been made against James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, known as MrBeast, including claims of covering up sexual misconduct, money laundering, and more.

Recently, former employee Jake Weedle called for police involvement in the investigation. He later insisted that all accusations against Donaldson were “true” and cautioned that developments may still worsen for the content creator.

Now, another former employee has shared their experience publicly. Trey Yates, who worked for MrBeast from 2018 to 2021, discussed his time with the YouTuber during his September 10 appearance on The Asher Show.

Yates also shared the interview on X and expanded on his claims that Donaldson dismissed him for “refusing to work more than 45 hours a week.”

The editor noted that after a sponsorship video that was “never going to do well in the first place” failed to perform, MrBeast called him angrily and “demanded” he “lose sleep to achieve absolute perfection out of every video.”

All the while, Yates alleged that Donaldson was “putting in zero work himself to do so.”

Yates, who now serves as an editor for Jacksepticeye, also stated that in 2020, an “internal investigation” was initiated when it was found that Adderall was being “passed around” and offered to employees to expedite their work. However, the inquiry yielded no results.

He additionally recounted that while filming the viral “I Got Hunted by the FBI” video, the first attempt was a “disaster” due to the “FBI talent being a deranged lunatic.”

As of now, Donaldson has not addressed these serious allegations, but updates will be provided if the situation changes.
