The K-pop artist from SM Entertainment was the subject of a heated discussion online after C.A.P, formerly of TEEN TOP, made a statement about them on his channel. He shared a negative experience he had with the famous artist.
C.A.P Recalls a Scolding from TVXQ Yunho for THESE Reasons
The ex-leader of TEEN TOP, a 2nd-generation boy group, captured the interest of K-pop enthusiasts by exposing the true character of the music legend, who is famously referred to as the “K-pop Emperor.”
After departing from the group, C.A.P transitioned to becoming a YouTuber, regularly engaging with his subscribers to disclose behind-the-scenes stories and reveal the reality of the K-pop industry and its idols.
C.A.P’s videos resurfaced when internet users reminded others of how he exposed Yunho’s true attitude, contradicting his passionate and righteous image.
On YouTube, the former idol stressed the importance of not being overly passionate, as it could potentially harm others. As an illustration, they mentioned TVXQ Yunho.
C.A.P remembered:
“In the case of (stage) rehearsals, it’s okay to be a bit sloppy. No human being can work hard in everything. Aren’t you and me a group that has nothing to do with each other?
I used to be casual at rehearsals (in the past). Then (U-Know Yunho) is saying something to me. (U-Know Yunho) is saying, ‘You seem to be doing well these days~ Being casual while rehearsals are going~’ He mocked me like that.”
He expressed that Yunho was lacking consideration for his visual impairment, as there were instances where C.A.P failed to properly greet him as a senior.
“I have been scolded (by him) a few times. I have never been scolded by anyone. So, I was changing my clothes next to the stage, but my eyesight was poor and it was very dark, so I didn’t know if he was there or not. I didn’t know, so I wasn’t able to say ‘hello,’ but he started cursing at me.
If this goes too extreme, it will cause personality problems.”
Despite acknowledging Yunho’s passion, the ex-TEEN TOP member C.A.P explained that not everyone could match his level of dedication, especially during early morning rehearsals.
After being scolded by Yunho, he turned his attention back to the stage where over 100 singers had been called out to perform with microphones, following a casual practice session for an upcoming international event.
C.A.P Criticizes TVXQ Yunho’s ‘Hypocrisy’
Despite viewers defending Yunho and praising his strong work ethic as a K-pop icon, C.A.P made it clear that he had a dislike for the celebrity, citing his “hypocrisy”as the reason.
“I didn’t like that person. The reason why I didn’t like him is, to be honest, I don’t greet people that well. Even saying ‘Hello, senior’ takes a lot of effort (from someone, especially for an INFP). You may not understand, but those greetings are also the reason why I got scolded a lot.
It’s okay to get scolded by him a lot. If you’re an upright young man and trying to teach people like that, shouldn’t you be an upright person too?”
He proceeded to call out Yunho for smoking in a non-smoking area, stating:
“Every time, (Yunho) smokes in the bathroom of the broadcasting station, it causes discomfort to people who go there. It’s uncomfortable for juniors as he smokes there all the time. It’s even a non-smoking area, but that motherfxxker is always smoking there.
Oops, I called my senior an MF. Please forget about that.”
