Fans of Fortnite have always had a lot of challenges to work on during each season. Some of them can only be used for a short time, while others are there to thank fans for how far they’ve come in the game over the course of the season.
This guide will explain how Chapter 4 Season of Fortnite’s Milestone quests work. Players shouldn’t forget about these quests because, as they complete them, they can give a lot of XP.
Milestone Quests
Players can start working on the new Milestone quests right away to make sure they reach level 100 of the Battle Pass as quickly as possible. The number of quests hasn’t gone up yet this season. Before, players got more than twice as many Milestone quests as they do now, which makes it harder for them to level up by the end of the season.
Each Milestone quest has 20 stages, so to finish it, players have to do the same task a certain number of times and then do it all over again 20 times. Even though players can try to do them quickly, these quests aren’t meant to be finished in a day. Instead, players should try to complete them over the course of the season.
Here are all of the available Chapter 4 Season 2 Milestone quests, along with some tips on how to finish them faster.
Quest |
Times per stage |
How to complete |
---|---|---|
Acquire accolades |
75 |
Accolades are small amounts of XP that players get when they reach certain milestones during a match. For example, if a player makes Top 10, kills 5 opponents, or is the first player to talk to an NPC, they get an award.. |
Activate Reality Augments |
10 |
Reality Augments can be used for the first time two and a half minutes into a Fortnite match, and the countdown resets until the player uses another Augment. A player can use up to four Augments during a match. |
Complete daily quests |
20 |
Even though there is a limit to how many daily bonus quests a player can do to earn a lot of XP, they can do as many as they want, and three will always be available. |
Damage opponents |
4,500 |
The difficulty of this quest depends on a lot of different things. An opponent with max shields and max health will have a total of 200 HP (or 250 HP when playing Zero Build), and if they are knocked out instead of instantly killed, they will have an extra 100 HP. This means that killing a single enemy can do anywhere from 1 to 350 HP damage, depending on a number of things. |
Eliminate opponents |
25 |
Since each Milestone quest has 20 stages, players will have to kill 500 other players in order to finish this quest. The good news is that you can do these quests for the whole season. Team Rumble is a great mode for these kinds of challenges. |
Gain shields |
1,000 |
This task can be done by drinking Slurp Juice or potions, putting down Shield Kegs, using the Mending Machine, breaking barrels, and destroying Slurp trucks. In Zero Build mode, when the overshield feature is used, it does not count as getting a shield. |
Outlast opponents |
750 |
In a normal battle royale game of Fortnite, there are usually 90 to 100 players in the lobby. The longer a player stays alive after the battle bus crosses the island, the closer they are to completing the next phase. |
Search chests or ammo boxes |
75 |
In Fortnite, the fastest way to look for chests or ammo boxes is to land in large POIs with lots of buildings and houses. If you want to open as many containers as possible during a match, you should go to the new location called Mega City. But players should know that these places are both dangerous and rewarding, so it’s not easy to get out of them alive. |
Thank the bus driver |
5 |
A few seasons ago, the option to thank the bus driver was added after players said they’d like to thank the unnamed person who flies over the island every day. To thank the bus driver, the player can’t immediately jump off the bus. Instead, they have to stay on the bus and press the Emote keybind or button. A message will then appear in the kill feed saying that the user thanked the bus driver. Only one time per match is allowed. |
Travel distance in a vehicle |
5,000 |
Vehicles have been in Fortnite since the first chapter, but they have gotten a lot better since then. With the start of Chapter 4 Season 2, Epic Games added the Victory Crown Rogue bike and the Nitro Drifter car, making it easier than ever to travel long distances as long as players don’t forget to fill up their Fortnite vehicles. |
When players finish these quests, they won’t get any cosmetic items as a reward. Instead, they’ll get a lot of experience points. The player will get 6,000 XP every time they finish a Milestone quest phase. On top of that, they will get an extra 20,000 XP whenever they finish five stages of any Milestone quest.
There are ten quests, and each one has 20 stages. When a player finishes a quest, they get 120,000 XP from the stages and 100,000 XP as a bonus. So, if you finish all ten quests, you get a total of 2,200,000 XP, which is equivalent to 27,5 season levels.
You can play Fortnite on your phone, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S right now.
