One player of Fortnite has disclosed a method to transform the most powerful weapon of Chapter 5 Season 3 into a lethal sniper, as they unintentionally took out an opponent on the opposite end of the map.
Ever since the Wastelander Magneto arrived in Chapter 5 Season 3, the Magneto Power Gauntlets have been a popular addition. They quickly became known as the top weapon of the season. But just when Fortnite players believed they couldn’t get any better, one fan has shown otherwise.
HiddenAmongTheCrowd, a Fortnite player, shared a clip on the game’s Reddit titled: “I just got the greatest accidental kill I’ve ever gotten.”
Following the successful elimination of an enemy using the Magneto Power gauntlets’ projectiles, another was unintentionally fired into the distance from the peak of Redline Rig. Within moments, a notification informed them that an opponent had been sniped from a distance of 556m, resulting in their elimination.

“One person responded, “The poor guy probably didn’t expect to see a meteorite like that,”and numerous others quickly joined in to commend the incredible sighting.”
“Wow, over 500 meters? I had no idea projectiles could reach that distance,”one player responded, while another added, “That makes sense, since the Magneto Powers are considered a marksman rifle.”
Despite attempts to discredit the impressive long-range snipe, one person questioned if the target had previously been knocked down. They pointed out that the hit marker did not indicate a successful hit. However, the original poster promptly clarified the situation by stating that the shot was made in a Solo game and that there were no previous knocks.
Despite its divisive nature, Fortnite’s Wrecked theme for Chapter 5 Season 3 has captivated the community since its introduction of the Nitro-fueled vehicle onto the map. The addition of these fortified vehicles has quickly become the go-to strategy for players looking to swiftly eliminate their opponents while navigating the Battle Royale island.
Nitro Fists attempted to counteract the opponents, but with the addition of Mageneto’s Power gauntlets, they ultimately prevailed and were deemed overpowered due to their dominating abilities.
