Early Patch Notes for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4

Marvel theme and three new POIs

In the upcoming season 5 of Fortnite Chapter 4, the Marvel theme will return along with three new iconic POIs on the island. These locations, taken from Marvel Comics, will showcase all the latest content that comes with the season.

Currently, Epic has revealed three new locations: Latveria, The Raft, and Cynthia. These areas will take the place of Classy Courts, Pleasant Piazza, and Lavish Lair, respectively. Throughout the island, there are also various statues of Doom and useful items that can assist you in defeating the villain and enhancing your abilities to transform into a superhero.

New Weapons and the Return of Superpowers

The upcoming season will feature a diverse range of new weapons, including the Single Hand Pistol, Stark Industries Energy Shotgun, and Dual Micro SMGs. Additionally, popular Marvel Superpower mythics like Iron Man’s Repulsors, Captain America’s Shield, and Doctor Doom Gauntlets will be making a comeback with significant upgrades.

Additionally, players will have access to Mysterio’s Illusions, Peelverine’s Claws, Shuri’s Claws, and War Machine’s Arsenal, complete with rockets and turrets. These powerful abilities can be found across the island, most likely appearing more frequently in the newly added locations.

Marvel Heroes and Villains as Battle Pass Skins

The Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass in Fortnite includes eight Marvel characters that players can unlock as they progress. These characters include Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jonesy, Mysterio, Shuri, and Doctor Doom.

Despite the fact that there are more than seven characters included in the upcoming Absolute Doom Battle Pass, only seven of them will be unlockable upon its release. This is because Doctor Doom will not be available until September, when themed quests will be accessible to players. Additionally, Fortnite has hinted at the arrival of the Fantastic Four this season, who will join forces to take on Doctor Doom in an epic showdown.

Additional leaks have revealed upcoming skins for popular characters such as Hope with a new remix skin, Sabretooth Meowscles, and Galactus – the main antagonist of Marvel. Fans have also spotted Galactus’ head in the trailer for the new season, leading to speculation that it will make an appearance in the upcoming events as well.

As the season arrives on August 16 and players prepare to dive into Absolute Doom, we will continue to update this piece with additional information and complete patch notes.
