Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1: Hunters Officially Announced
Epic Games has officially unveiled Chapter 6, Season 1 of Fortnite, aptly named “Hunters.”This significant release is set to launch on December 1, 2024, marking a major shift in the game rather than just a routine seasonal update.
Leading up to this announcement, numerous leaks hinted at a Japanese theme for Season 1. However, Epic remained tight-lipped about the details, choosing to highlight the ongoing Remix Finale event before revealing more about this substantial update.
On November 26, Fortnite’s official X account shared an exciting teaser, confirming the season’s name and providing a glimpse into what players can expect. You can view the teaser in the official post.
While the teaser provided a taste of the aesthetics, notably a Japanese font, there remains speculation surrounding new locations, with rumors hinting at a Point of Interest (POI) featuring a beautiful Sakura flower garden.

Following the teaser, Fortnite also showcased the leaked Battle Pass key art. Players can expect an exciting ensemble of skins inspired by ninjas and samurai. Of particular note is the introduction of iconic characters, including Godzilla and Baymax from Big Hero 6.
December Crew Pass Unveiled
In tandem with the Chapter 6 Season 1 announcement, Epic Games has revealed the December Crew Pass. This new Crew Pass promises enhanced value, offering all the benefits of the Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass, along with the music and LEGO Fortnite passes.
Players subscribing to the Crew Pass will also receive the exclusive Lady of Cranes set, which includes a unique LEGO version, back bling, and a pickaxe. As always, V-Bucks will be included as part of the Crew Pass package.
