Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless Title Announced & Midas Makes a Comeback

After weeks of speculation and rumors, the developers of Fortnite have officially revealed the title for Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless.

Previous rumors hinted at a central theme revolving around heists, sparking excitement within the community. Although Epic Games has remained discreet about the details, a hint dropped by Vice President Mark Rein alluded to the introduction of a new character resembling a pickle.

This has ignited curiosity among avid fans regarding the potential return of beloved characters, such as Midas, who originally appeared during the Secret Agents theme of Chapter 2 Season 2. Fortunately, players no longer have to speculate, as Epic has released a teaser trailer showcasing what is in store for the season ahead.

Official Announcement of Chapter 6 Season 2: ‘Lawless’

Set to launch on February 21, Fortnite developers have shared exciting updates regarding the upcoming season. The release will introduce a new location named Crime City within the Chapter 6 map.

The recently unveiled teaser video prominently displays the Lawless logo and features wanted posters portraying both Midas and a novel character named Big Dill. This strongly suggests that Midas is indeed making his comeback in this season, accompanied by his new vegetable-themed counterpart.

While Epic Games is keeping certain details confidential for the time being, a recent leak suggests the potential for a Like a Dragon (formerly known as Yakuza) crossover in the near future. The purported collaboration could introduce fan favorites Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, characters who have taken the lead role in multiple titles of the series.

This crossover, if accurate, would complement the Lawless theme and the dynamic Crime City point of interest (POI) exceptionally well.
