The Thunder Burst SMG was released during Chapter 5 Season 1 and quickly established itself as a staple weapon in the game due to its strong damage output and unique three-round burst design. It utilized Light Bullets and had a formidable 1.75x headshot multiplier.

Despite not receiving as much recognition as the “hilariously overpowered”Frenzy Auto Shotgun, the Thunder Burst SMG is highly praised on Reddit as one of the top submachine guns of all time.

The Thunder Burst SMG had a successful run in Fortnite, first appearing in December 2023 and remaining in the game until its retirement in August 2024. Its departure signifies the end of an era for numerous players.

The weapons for Chapter 5 Season 4 are still shrouded in secrecy. Although there have been some leaks, it is unclear if Epic Games plans to introduce a completely new set of weapons or bring back fan favorites from previous Chapters or Seasons.

As the upcoming season approaches, there are differing opinions among players. Some applaud the Nitro Fists for their revolutionary mobility capabilities, while others advocate for a nerf to the Magneto Fists.

Despite some claiming that Season 3 is the worst in Fortnite history, it has been a mixed bag. As August 16 marks the launch of the new season, players are eagerly anticipating a fresh start and more balanced gameplay.
