Fortnite is set to hold a D23 2024 livestream within the game, providing players with a sneak peek into upcoming Disney events in UEFN. Along with this, players will have the opportunity to collect free rewards and XP while viewing the stream.
The partnership between Fortnite and Disney has been a highly successful collaboration. The two brands have joined forces on multiple occasions, incorporating elements from Star Wars and Marvel franchises. Epic announced in early 2024 that they will continue to work with Disney to introduce new worlds in Fortnite, featuring all of the beloved franchises from the entertainment giant.
Recently, it was announced by Epic that they will be hosting a livestream of Disney’s 2024 D23 event on Fortnite. This livestream will provide viewers with an exclusive sneak peek at upcoming Disney experiences in UEFN.
The Fortnite Creative map will be hosting the livestream, with attendees receiving complimentary rewards. For those interested in a preview and obtaining free gifts, all the necessary information can be found below.
Fortnite and Disney’s D23 Event: Start Date and Time
Players will get the first glimpse into Disney experiences in Fortnite during the stream.
The online access to the livestream for the Fortnite x Disney D23 event will commence on August 10 at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET, with the actual stream starting at 8:30 PM PT / 11:30 PM ET.
How to Watch the Fortnite Disney D23 Livestream
The live broadcast of the Fortnite Disney D23 reveals will be exclusively available for streaming from the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase within Fortnite.
A new Fortnite Creative island, called Disney Horizons Live, will become available to all players on August 10 at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET. Josh D’Amaro and some special guests will present the event.
To access the island, you can either join from the Homebar in Discover (the top row) or use the island code 7908-6413-2516. If you’re unfamiliar with Fortnite, here are step-by-step instructions on how to access the island:
- To start playing Fortnite, launch the game.
- To initiate your search, simply click on the Search button located in the top left corner of your screen.
- Type in the island code 7908-6413-2516 and press enter.
- You will notice the appearance of the tile for the Disney Horizons Live island.
- By clicking on Select, the lobby will load the island playlist.
- Choose either a Private or Public matchmaking lobby and click on Play.
- Come and watch the island show by yourself or with your friends!
Whether you are unable to watch the stream live or simply want to rewatch it, you can still watch Disney Horizons Live from D23 until August 16. The presentation will be on loop for your convenience.
Players can claim a free Peelverine Plush Back Bling in Fortnite after the event.
Ways to Claim Free Rewards and XP during the Fortnite Disney D23 Livestream
Players who remain on the island for 10 minutes will receive the Peelverine Plush Back Bling and bonus XP on August 16 as a reward. This back bling showcases a Peely version of the recently added Wolverine skin and will be given to participants after the event.
During the Disney event, Fortnite will be hosting a live event to conclude Chapter 5 Season 3, as the next season is approaching.
