Forecast Towers can be found throughout the Fortnite map in Chapter 5 Season 4. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to locate and utilize these towers in your matches.
Initially introduced in Chapter 4, Forecast Towers have become a staple on the island map. Capturing a Forecast Tower provides players with crucial forecast data, enabling them to see future storm circles’ locations before their opponents do.
This gives you a significant competitive edge while striving for a Victory Royale in Battle Royale matches. Additionally, you can use these towers to complete quests, including Part 6: Diamond in the Raft Story Quests during Chapter 5 Season 4.
All Forecast Tower Locations
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 map contains a total of five Forecast Towers, strategically scattered across the island. Four of these towers are centrally located, while the fifth is in the southwest corner of the map.
As shown on the map below, all Forecast Tower locations are highlighted and numbered:

Here are the Forecast Tower locations detailed from the map above:
- North of Sandy Steppes, situated atop the mountain.
- Southwest of Restored Reels, positioned on a hill.
- On the hill near Estate Station, southeast of Doomstadt.
- Northwest of Mount Olympus, above the train tunnel.
- Southeast of Reckless Railways, on a hill by the Dumpenhausen landmark.
You can land in any nearby Point of Interest (POI), gather weapons and consumables, and then navigate to the Forecast Tower. However, these structures will not become operational until the first storm circle materializes.
Timing your movements correctly is essential to avoid encounters with opponents who may be lurking in the vicinity.
How to Use Forecast Towers
To utilize a Forecast Tower and gather forecast data, you must first acquire a Forecast Tower Access Card. This card can be obtained by defeating the head henchman, who patrols the tower area with a group of henchmen.
Eliminate the head henchman to secure the Access Card needed to gather forecast data.
Once you have the keycard, pick it up, which will take up one slot in your inventory. Next, enter the black building next to the tower and interact with the computer to activate the Forecast Tower and retrieve its data.
Once operational, the Forecast Tower will emit loud sounds, and its structure will glow green, indicating readiness. You will then be able to view the future storm circles on your map, which will remain visible for the rest of your Battle Royale match.
In Chapter 5 Season 4, using just one tower will complete the “Use a Forecast Tower” quest, rewarding you with 20,000 XP.
