Fans of Fortnite were taken aback when they noticed a Fall Guys skin in the game prior to the planned collaboration release date, leading to speculation that an Epic developer may have accidentally revealed the surprise.
The highly-anticipated collaboration between Fortnite and Fall Guys will enable players to construct unique obstacle courses in the world of Fortnite. By utilizing a variety of tools and assets, players can craft imaginative islands complete with checkpoints, obstacles, and platforms.
From August 6 onwards, players can utilize the Creator Portal to share their creations, although they are already able to experiment with the latest content through UEFN on Fortnite’s Creative mode.
Currently, players are not allowed to utilize Fall Guys skins on any platforms other than Fall Guys creative islands. Furthermore, when the collaboration is officially released, the bean skins with their small hitboxes will not be suitable for Battle Royale modes.
As a result, a Fall Guys skin was unexpectedly spotted by a player on Reddit before its scheduled release in Battle Royale.

The player posted a video clip on social media showcasing [EPIC] Rico, a user in Fortnite’s Battle Royale, sporting the pink Fall Guys bean skin in the game’s lobby. In the footage, Rico can be seen emoting while being surrounded by a curious group of players.
The appearance and username of “Epic” caused speculation that this may be a skin being tested by an employee of Epic.
The remarks vary from “Perhaps, since his name includes ‘epic’,”to “It’s refreshing to see that Epic allows their staff to have some fun at times.”
One fan jokingly proposed, “They should make this an available feature. In my opinion, there should be a battle royale mode where you can control a bean character.”
Despite some players finding the meta “stale,”Epic Games continues to keep Fortnite fresh by introducing new modes such as LEGO, Rocket Racing, and Festival. The recent collaboration between Fall Guys and Fortnite is just another example of the game’s ongoing success.
