If you don’t have enough friends to form a squad in Fortnite Reload, don’t worry. Duos and Trios lobbies are expected to be available soon.
The latest addition to Fortnite’s Chapter 5, Season 3 is the Reload mode, which enables players to revisit past POIs and utilize traditional weapons. This new game mode has quickly gained popularity, attracting a large number of players and even surpassing the popularity of previous modes.
Despite its fair share of issues, Fortnite Reload continues to receive high praise from the community for its fresh and fast-paced gameplay, thanks to a revamped reboot mechanic, smaller map, and diverse loot pool.
The community has been expressing their strong opinions about the game mode being limited to squads only, as it requires players to face off against other squads in the new map. This differs from Battle Royale and Zero Build, where players have the option to team up in Duos, Trios, or even play Solo.
Nevertheless, Duos and Trios will soon be added to the new mode, according to Fortnite content creator PeQu who shared on X that “Fortnite Reload has recently introduced a Duos Mode to the API.”

According to the comments, the Duo Playlist is currently not available as it is not included in the files, but only in the API. This indicates that it will not be released until a new game update is released and it is added to the files. Therefore, it is unlikely to be released anytime soon.
Additionally, a separate post unveiled that Trios will likely be added to the game mode. While the release date for these lobbies is still uncertain, many players are eagerly anticipating their arrival.
“One user commented, “This is a massive win, I am so happy right now.”
Another person added, “THANK YOU.”
Despite the squad-only lobby, the addition of the Reload game mode has brought a refreshing element to Fortnite. Nonetheless, it is no secret that the matches can be challenging, as they often pit less experienced players against more skilled opponents.
