Recently leaked footage of Fortnite reveals the iconic Black Pearl ship from Pirates of the Caribbean anchored in the new location of Shipwreck Shallows.
Additionally, players of Fortnite can anticipate some modifications to the map in the near future. This is evident from the presence of foggy waters and shipwrecks scattered throughout the current Battle Royale map, indicating the upcoming Pirates-themed changes.

Based on leaked information, the upcoming POI is set to be named Shipwreck Shallows. The included video features the Black Pearl, commanded by Captain Jack Sparrow, as the focal point of the attraction, situated in an area where other ships have met their demise.
Exploring the Black Pearl’s main deck and the area below deck will allow players to discover hidden loot in gold chests.
The port at Shipwreck Shallows is likely to serve as a haven for pirates. The footage gives a brief glimpse of the port, revealing numerous golden chests, cannons, and interior spaces.
Veteran Fortnite players are drawing comparisons between Shipwreck Shallows and Lazy Lagoon, a pirate-themed location previously added by Epic in Chapter 1 Season 8. It is yet to be revealed how the Pirates of the Caribbean content in Fortnite will set itself apart from Lazy Lagoon.
It is worth mentioning that this gameplay leak occurred just days after Epic mistakenly released the Captain Jack Sparrow skin. For a short while, Fortnite players were able to obtain the cosmetic item before it was swiftly removed from the game.
The highly anticipated crossover between Fortnite and Pirates of the Caribbean is set to launch on Friday, July 19th.
