Fortnite player suggests creative way to block sweaty skins

A concept has been suggested by a Fortnite player that would allow for the ability to conceal specific skins, mirroring the game’s implementation of hiding emotes.

Fortnite’s latest update includes a feature that enables players to hide “confrontational”emotes by adjusting a specific setting. This new feature has sparked discussions about the possibility of also giving players the ability to block specific skins from their view.

The concept of blocking emotes was taken from the original Reddit post, but with the added option of blocking superhero skins instead. These skins, which have been a prevalent issue in Fortnite for multiple seasons, are widely considered to be some of the more competitive options available.

“One commenter stated that they appreciate cool color combinations in someone’s outfit, but they find those who only wear black or gray to be the worst, lol.”

Many gamers take advantage of the customizable option of superhero skins to completely darken them, believing that it will decrease their hitbox size. However, Epic Games has refuted these claims, stating that all skins have an equal hitbox size regardless of their visual appearance.

Despite being criticized for their decision to block these emotes, Fortnite may find that implementing something similar for the “sweaty”skins would please some members of the community.

A commenter argued that blocking skins would be pointless, but this was countered by the fact that Fortnite is already restricting certain skins from being viewed on maps deemed not suitable for certain ages.

While the idea of prohibiting specific skins may seem unlikely at the moment, the updates and age settings that Fortnite is introducing could lay the groundwork for a potential implementation of such a concept in the future.
