One player in the Fortnite community has shocked everyone by revealing their account’s five-figure V-Bucks debt through an image.

Although encountering a negative V-Bucks balance is not uncommon, one user has caused quite a stir by accumulating a debt of over 33,000 V-Bucks in their account. In a Reddit thread titled “What is this?”, they posted a screenshot displaying a precisely negative balance of 33,150 V-Bucks, leaving the community in shock.
Despite not providing details on how they accumulated such a significant debt, numerous other players swiftly joined in the comments to criticize their actions, with a few asserting that the outcome was justifiable.
One user commented, “It’s crazy to get into debt because of Fortnite.”Another user added, “It seems like Epic Games is punishing you for trying to cheat the system.”
It was also speculated by certain players that the user may have used their parents’ credit card, resulting in them getting caught. As a result, the transaction was refunded, ultimately leading to their account’s current state.
“You won’t have access to the battle pass until you pay the piper,”one user joked, to which another responded, “or you could get it gifted to you at a higher price.”
At the same time, a few players couldn’t resist making light of the situation, jokingly commenting, “Looks like someone forgot to thank the bus driver.”However, another user countered by suggesting that the player would have to show gratitude to the bus driver for several seasons in order to improve his current situation.
