Despite the arrival of Avatar: The Last Airbender characters in Fortnite, there is some discontent among fans as the beloved character Sokka has been excluded from the game.
The island in Fortnite will be hosting the Avatar: The Last Airbender event on April 12, and players are now able to access certain skins. The skins for Aang, Zuko, Katara, Toph, and even Korra are part of the collaboration, but what about Sokka?
One comment on X shared, “They really did my goat Sokka dirty,” while attaching a picture of the character. Another stated, “He was the one we were most excited for.” There is speculation that this decision was influenced by Sokka being a non-bender, as Epic may have wanted to introduce more characters that align with the elemental Mythics.
Despite the widespread disappointment over Sokka’s exclusion, there is still a glimmer of hope for his possible inclusion in the game. It has been speculated that he may be featured in the upcoming Event Pass accompanying the Avatar: Elements event in Fortnite, but recent leaks surrounding the collaboration suggest otherwise.
Nevertheless, the most recent bundle for Guards of the Galaxy included additional characters from the franchise, several seasons after the initial collaboration. This suggests that there is a possibility for a similar occurrence with Sokka and potential Avatar: The Last Airbender skins in Fortnite.
