Fortnite players claim one simple feature would drastically improve cosmetics

Fortnite players are requesting a basic customization option that would improve the fit of back blings and other accessories with skins.

Generally, these backblings tend to not adhere well to skins, even if they are part of the same bundle. As a result, floating cosmetics are created, which takes away from the overall visual appeal of the game.

A Reddit user who plays Fortnite expressed their discontent with Blair and her bundle after observing that the backpack and skin highlighted in Fortnite’s promotions did not fit correctly.

One player pointed out that Blair’s backpack appeared to be floating aimlessly and suggested that the back bling should be more finely tuned to match its corresponding skin.

Another player emphasized their point, stating, “If I purchase a skin/bundle and it includes a backbling, I expect the backbling to be compatible with the corresponding skin.”

Players of Fortnite have been left questioning why Epic Games does not refine the backbling for each skin, or at the very least, give players the ability to customize it themselves.

A solution from another game was suggested by one player: “Warframe has a similar feature and it’s fantastic. You can customize the X/Y/Z axis, pitch, and yaw to precisely match your frames. I believe this would have a positive impact on Fortnite and would provide more opportunities for creativity with skins.”

Despite never offering extensive customization for backblings, Epic Games used to make small adjustments to ensure that they fit perfectly on characters’ backs.

As one player clarified, the hair on skins could be altered when a back bling was equipped, such as placing ponytails or braids over the shoulders.

Epic Games has recently faced additional criticism from Fortnite players. Many have expressed dissatisfaction with the current season, labeling it as “stale.”In addition, popular streamer Ninja has stated that the current vehicle meta is suited for “losers.”

The Fortnite community desires improvements, particularly in comparison to competitors such as Warframe, who offer more extensive customization options.
