Fortnite players convinced FNAF collab is in the works

It is believed that Fortnite’s August update will coincide with a mystery FNAF announcement, sparking speculation of a potential collaboration between the two.

Despite being a popular gaming franchise, Five Nights at Freddy’s has not yet been included in a Fortnite crossover. However, there is a new rumor circulating on social media that suggests this may change in the near future.

The FNAF-ScottGames Twitter account has recently announced its August 2024 lineup. Excitement surrounds the first week of releases, with particular focus on the August 6 date.

On August 6, a “Collab Announcement”will be released on the internet. It didn’t take long for observant fans to draw a connection to Fortnite, as the game’s 30.40 update is set to be released on the same day.

Several Fortnite players with dedicated accounts, such as archer, iFireMonkey, and HYPEX, have shared their speculations on their individual pages. HYPEX, in particular, believes that if the crossover does not occur, it would be the most significant collaboration coincidence to date.

Despite fan speculation, there has been no official announcement or hint from either Epic Games or ScottGames about a potential collaboration between Fortnite and FNAF. As such, it is possible that any perceived connection between the two may simply be a mere coincidence.

There are also long-standing rumors that Epic has another surprise collaboration planned for the end of the summer, indicating that Five Nights at Freddy’s may not be the only one in store for Fortnite.

A leaked roadmap, circulating in April, suggested the possibility of a Marvel-themed season being released alongside Chapter 5 Season 4 in mid-August. However, this information has yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.

It should be mentioned that the roadmap has proven to be accurate in regards to the leaks of Billie Eilish, Metallica, and wasteland.
