Fortnite players are now criticizing Epic Games moderators for allowing racist and insensitive Creative cards. While the Creative Library is full of unethical games, here’s what the community has to say.
Compared to other Battle Royale games such as Warzone, Apex Legends, etc., Fortnite offers much more. It offers many experiences, such as LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival.
But before the release of three new game modes, players could create their own mini-games in Fortnite’s Creative mode. With the Creative 2.0 update, the level of map innovation has gone up a notch.
Now developers can create mini-games on any topic with their own 3D graphics assets. However, Epic Games’ rigorous moderation staff reviews each card and grants publishing permission to creators before they go live.

But with the rise of questionable content in Fortnite Creative, players have expressed their dissatisfaction with the current moderation system. Some players have accused the games of being “racist and insensitive”and criticized Fortnite’s moderation team.
Fortnite players call on moderators to ban unethical Creative cards
Popular Fortnite dataminer HYPEX has shared his thoughts. He discussed the current state of Creative and the range of unethical cards on the platform. He shared screenshots of some cards that were racist and insensitive. Indeed, they referred to current global problems and advocated hate speech.
This chapter launch was good and all, and ik yall just came back from vacation, but please get to banning maps like this asap @FortniteGame, really disappointing if you let them stay up for longer 🤡 And there’s no excuse for the first map to stay up, don’t come with that “they… pic.twitter.com/GcCPPsy0ox

Similarly, Fortnite map creators like MrMonkeyFN also shared a screenshot of a map that promotes the racism towards Africans and has absurd coverage. He said, “Epic, what the hell is this… Please do something.”
Other players also joined in the conversation where one player said, “If that’s not racism, I don’t know what is.”Another added: “I didn’t know they became the Roblox moderation team.”
A third user added: “Their system for approving islands is literally a joke. A bunch of creators who try to post a normal card for fun have to submit it 6/10 times because the content isn’t ‘valid’. And deactivating the islands doesn’t really do anything, their SAC (Support a Creator) needs to be removed as soon as possible.”
A fourth player commented: “Fortnite Creative has become a money-raising circus since the release of UEFN, nothing feels authentic anymore and it’s extremely demoralizing for a platform I love”. Finally, a fifth responded: “Since there are no consequences, these types of people do whatever they want without regard for rules or morals. There should be harsher consequences. Hopefully Epic will change and be very strict.” Hopefully Epic Games will listen to Fortnite players.
