Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Remix is set to reintroduce beloved characters, yet players are voicing dissatisfaction over the design of their skins.
As we near the conclusion of the current Fortnite season, Epic Games typically shares teasers to excite players for the next chapter. We already know that a live Prelude event will kick off the Remix Chapter, accompanied by the return of some iconic original characters.
The twist, however, is that these cherished figures have been creatively blended, resulting in a visual style that fuses elements from various characters.
A user on a Reddit thread compiled a detailed overview of the skins revealed in the official rewind teasers, giving other players a closer look. Despite the Battle Pass not being officially available yet, many players have already expressed their disappointment with these skins.
Some players described the skins as “sloppy” and indicated they were a “hard pass,” while others provided more intense critiques. One user commented, “Honestly, there isn’t a single skin I’m excited about.”
Another player expressed frustration, stating, “Why does 8ball resemble a fisherman? I’m pretty sure this poorly designed Battle Pass is the reason I took a break from Fortnite in the past. They could have done an amazing job with this pass, but it’s just disappointing.”
A different player added, “I apologize for being negative, but these designs are genuinely terrible compared to last year.”
One user even suggested this could be “in the running for the worst Battle Pass” in Fortnite history, asserting that it’s “not an exaggeration.”
Players who reminisced about the original Chapter 2 era also shared their lack of enthusiasm regarding the skins. “These are meant to evoke nostalgia; I started playing again since Chapter 2, but honestly, they really miss the mark,” one of them noted.
With Fortnite’s classic Chapter 2 Remix on the horizon, stay tuned for updates on the Battle Pass alterations, solo gameplay enhancements in Reload, and return features that fans loved.
