Fortnite players have one strange request for OG container change

Fortnite players have requested that Epic make a crucial alteration to a Chapter 5 OG container, and here is the specific change they have requested.

In Fortnite, players can find various types of loot in containers, including weapons, gold bars, materials, and consumable items. Moreover, the recent release of Chapter 5 Season 2 also introduced a new type of container, in addition to the familiar loot chests, ammunition boxes, and supply drops.

Despite its status as an OG container, the Large Ammo Box has been a topic of debate among players due to its lack of consumable drops during the current season. In response, players have taken to social media, specifically urging Epic to reintroduce consumables to the container, arguing that it offers no advantage over smaller ammo boxes.

The introduction of Flowberries and Flowberry Fizz has led to a decrease in the use of traditional shield potions by players on the island, as these newer items provide a higher jump effect. Despite this, consumables are still not available to be claimed by NPCs, found in loot chests, or obtained through supply drops.

Despite this, the community remains worried about the lack of shield potions found in large ammo boxes, which no longer serve the same purpose as they did in the original version of Fortnite.

One player commented on the situation, stating, “It’s no joke. I held onto the belief that they were still giving out shields and I just had bad luck.”Another player added, “I can’t comprehend why they took it away. The big ammo boxes were harder to find, but they gave out minis or big pots and it was great. They don’t have to drop anything game-breaking like Flowberry Fizz, but at least bring back the minis and big pots.”

Despite facing backlash from the player community for the major UI changes made to Fortnite’s locker system in the latest update, Epic is redeeming themselves with the introduction of the Avatar event. Players are highly impressed with the new mythic weapons that have altered the current meta in Fortnite.
