One gamer in Fortnite has categorized the Chapter 5 Season 4 map into different sections to represent the current status of each area on the Battle Royale island, including the most frequented, top-performing, and overlooked sections.
Epic has once again revamped Fortnite’s Chapter 5 map with the recent launch of the Marvel-inspired Absolute Doom season. This update has introduced three additional POIs, including Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft, in honor of Doctor Doom’s takeover.
Despite only being released three days ago, Fortnite creator Fitzyleaks accurately described the state of the Chapter 5 map by highlighting the changes in a post on his Twitter/X account on August 19.
The Battle Royale map for this season was divided into eight distinct parts, with each section having a brief summary. These labels included: “Forgotten,””Goated rotation,””Half of the lobby dies here,”and “Who lands here now.”

“According to the creator, The Raft is the top POI this season. With its frequent action and valuable boss loot drops, it has consistently proven to be a strong choice in every match. This aligns with our guide’s assessment of it as the number one landing spot in Fortnite.”
The post’s accuracy caused it to go viral, amassing over twenty-three thousand likes and receiving agreement from numerous players who appreciated the breakdown of the map. One player even described it as “beautifully true.”
“The neglected area is incredibly dull. It’s surprising that it hasn’t been refreshed yet. This map definitely needed more significant alterations. I haven’t even bothered exploring the new locations due to the overwhelming chaos,”another person commented.
Conversely, others believed that locations like Mount Olympus POI, listed under the “3 people lands here”section, and The Nitrodome, categorized under “who lands here now,”were being treated unfairly due to their quieter nature.
“One person pointed out that many of the previous locations still have a large number of Avengers Chests, and personally, they prefer to land at Nitrodrome for the War Machine items.”
“Another person proudly added that they were one of the three who landed at Mount Olympus.”
Overall, Fitzyleaks has successfully captured the overall patterns of the Chapter 5 Season 4 map, with many areas remaining consistent throughout the entire chapter despite the addition of new POIs and major map changes.
