Fortnite Players Prefer Reload Mode Weapons over Season 3 Battle Royale Weapons

Fortnite Reload’s recent weapon balancing has received praise from players who have grown tired of the Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Royale loot pool.

With the release of update 30.20, Fortnite introduced a Reload mode that allows players to return to the original Chapter 1 map for rapid rounds containing 40 players.

One aspect that captured the community’s interest was the ability to respawn as long as at least one teammate in your squad remains alive during the entirety of the match.

The mode rapidly outpaced Battle Royale in its number of concurrent users, garnering more than 1 million active players within just one hour of its release.

This success was also attributed to the reintroduction of weapons from previous seasons that had not been seen by Fortnite players in a considerable amount of time.

Numerous players who experienced feelings of nostalgia for Season OG and Chapter 1 while playing Reload strongly believed that the mode’s weapons were more evenly balanced compared to the current season’s loot pool.

The current discussion has emerged from concerns voiced by players in recent weeks regarding the excessive strength of Nitro Cars and the need for weapon adjustments in the latest Wrecked season. As a result of this feedback, Epic has made both nerfs and buffs to various gameplay components in Battle Royale.

Despite the introduction of the Reload mode, players still show a preference for OG weapons without any weapon modifications. A player expressed this sentiment on social media, stating, “Fortnite Reload weapons feel more precise compared to weapons in normal modes.”

Another person added, “The lack of bullet drop-off really enhances the overall gameplay experience.”

Another user commented, “I miss the hit scan and lack of bullet drop in the main BR. Fortnite has never been a realistic game, so I don’t understand why they feel the need to add these elements for no reason.”

Despite Epic’s efforts to continuously improve with each season through the use of realistic graphics and new weapons, Fortnite players still hold a strong preference for the OG weapons that they have been playing with since the game’s early days.
