Epic Games is facing backlash from Fortnite players who have come across a progression glitch that is impeding their Battle Pass progress.
The Fortnite community is currently fully immersed in Chapter 5 Season 2, with players working hard to complete the Weekly Quests and level up their Battle Pass. Unfortunately, some users have encountered a glitch that is hindering their progress and preventing them from accessing their earned rewards.
In a Reddit post titled “New Quest rewards???,”screenshots were shared by fans regarding this problem. Many users also reported that this issue is affecting those on different platforms. One comment stated, “I believe this is a widespread issue affecting most users.”
Fans of Fortnite anticipate that this bug will be resolved in the upcoming update, and several have already contacted Epic Games to file a report.
“After reporting the bug to EPIC support, I was told that they were unaware of its existence. I suggested that a quick Google search would provide them with all the necessary information. It’s frustrating to see them being so indifferent towards any issues,”commented a player on a thread discussing new quest rewards.
Despite being accused by users of neglecting the current season, Epic Games was found to have a similar progression bug that affected the Battle Stars rewards for those who were saving up to unlock the Hades super style. This bug revealed that regardless of how many Stars players had, they were always five short of obtaining the style due to the glitch not saving the quest’s progress.
Despite the ongoing issue, fans of Fortnite are still noting that the current “Sniper meta”remains unchanged even after the Season 2 update. There are questions surrounding whether or not Epic Games is actively addressing the removal of Zero Build.
