Fortnite Players Want One Feature Added to Fix Reload Mode’s Biggest Issue

The issue in Reload is causing frustration among Fortnite players, who are now proposing a specific feature to improve their gaming experience.

As soon as it was introduced in Chapter 5, Season 3, Fortnite Reload quickly gained popularity among players with its classic POIs and OG weapons making a comeback. Many have commended the mode for providing an exhilarating and new gameplay experience, especially in light of the current meta in standard BR modes.

Despite being a valuable addition to the community, the mode is not without its own set of problems, with leavers being a major issue. In response, players have turned to a Reddit thread to express their frustration and discuss how these players are hindering the overall enjoyment of the game.

This is primarily due to the fact that, unlike Battle Royale and Zero Build, Fortnite Reload allows for multiple respawns until a certain point. As a result, some players believe that leaving the game should be discouraged and penalized, as it significantly disadvantages the team.

Teamwork is vital in getting a dub in Fortnite Reload.

According to one user, many children tend to rush into a designated area, only to get knocked down and killed immediately. They then proceed to loudly accuse their teammate of being incompetent. After this scenario happens a second time, they usually leave the game.

In response to the issue, several users in the comments proposed solutions for Epic to implement a feature that would prevent players from leaving.

One player suggested that implementing a short 10-15 minute ban would effectively solve the issue at hand. Additionally, they proposed that if one player were to leave, the rest should have the option to leave as well, similar to the game DOTA. In response, another player suggested that implementing a “leavers ban”would be beneficial, acknowledging that it may not be a perfect solution but could help mitigate the issue of early leavers.

Despite one player’s suggestion to use metered internet in order to prevent unintentional disconnections, another player argued that repeatedly leaving due to network issues is still disruptive to the game and its players.

Given the current popularity of Fortnite Reload and the developers’ track record of responding to feedback, it is possible that the mode will receive updates to improve its overall gameplay experience.
