Fortnite Reload Players Demand Perfect Map Feature from Warzone and Apex Legends

The Fortnite community has come together to suggest that Epic Games incorporate a popular map feature from Apex Legends and Warzone into the recently introduced OG Reload mode, in order to enhance its overall appeal.

A player impressed the Fortnite community on the FortniteBR Reddit with their ideas for smaller Battle Royale island maps for the new Reload mode. They sparked a discussion by asking, “What if Reload featured additional maps?”

The three map concepts were developed with a focus on distinct snow, jungle, and desert biomes, drawing inspiration from various well-known POI locations.

Their map concepts were met with immediate praise, with one person saying, “These are truly some of the best map concepts I’ve ever seen,”while another suggested, “Someone should hire this person.”

Despite this, the conversation topic quickly changed as it sparked the idea for a map feature that had been previously utilized in Apex Legends and the popular Resurgence mode of Warzone.

The top comment, “Reload would be perfect for having a random map each game,”received a flood of responses in support of the feature.

One player exclaimed, “Wow, that would be amazing! I would never want to stop playing, haha.”Many others also suggested that Epic should implement the same popular map feature from Apex Legends, saying, “It should be like how Apex used to be. Change maps and loot pools every half an hour or hour.”

“One person also mentioned, “Apex implemented a system where they would rotate different maps at specific time intervals. The dedicated player base would consistently play, but there would be a significant influx of players whenever the original or preferred maps were in rotation.”

Many also expressed their support for implementing a feature similar to the one found in Warzone’s Resurgence mode. They suggested that the game could simply replicate Resurgence’s mechanics, with a rotation of maps that changes every 20-30 minutes.

Fortnite introduced its fast-paced Reload mode on June 22, coinciding with the first Metallica live concert event. This mode brings back several iconic locations from Chapter 1 and includes a variety of weapons that were previously retired and now back in the game.
