Fortnite Reload’s “Best Thing” is More Than Just the Mode Itself

Fortnite’s OG Reload mode has brought back numerous beloved features in the fan-favorite throwback mode, resulting in players being more invested in reminiscing about the past than actually engaging in gameplay.

Featuring 34 unvaulted weapons from various OG seasons and a condensed map showcasing beloved POI locations, it comes as no shock that Reload surpasses the popularity of all other modes combined.

Despite the widespread acclaim for its traditional gameplay and well-designed map, the true standout of Reload has been the nostalgic moments that players have been able to relive.

One noteworthy tradition during matches has been the iconic conga lines involving opposing players, and this Reload player may have participated in the most impressive one yet.

A number of friendly players were showcased in unison during their match, and the team shared various screenshots to display this. Many of these players were sporting old skins that have been unavailable for years.

“Several players expressed their desire to return to this type of atmosphere, with one stating, “I love when we have moments like this, where everyone is just relaxed and having fun.”

“I was shocked to see something like that in a public lobby. The remaining 28 players all joined, and the OP responded.”

In the meantime, popular Fortnite creator SquatingDog shared a video on social media of them landing at Retail Row in Chapter 1 and triggering the dancing fish emote. They expressed their excitement for the return of this feature in Fortnite Reload.

“I completely forgot about this! Thank you, it would be great if Fortnite had more of these entertaining easter eggs nowadays,”a player responded.

“We only associate with true OGs. Every time we come across this fish, we perform the same action to test if it still works,”one person stated, while another chimed in, “This was one of the initial tasks I did upon arriving at Retail.”

Despite receiving a positive response, Epic has not confirmed the permanency of Fortnite’s Reload mode, which was introduced on June 22 with the 30.20 update.
