For the third year in a row, Coachella will be making its way back to Fortnite, bringing with it an abundance of fresh content for the game.

During Chapter 5 Season 2, Fortnite has been continuously collaborating with various brands and events, including the upcoming 2024 Coachella event. For the past two years, the virtual version of the famous music festival has been available in Fortnite, allowing players from all over the world to experience a taste of the real festivities.

The upcoming 2024 edition of the in-game event appears to be the largest version yet.

According to an official blog post, the Fortnite x Coachella 2024 event will begin on April 11 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT / 12 AM GMT.

The color of both skins react to music.

The 2024 Fortnite x Coachella event introduces two fresh skins, Horizon and Cosma, inspired by the festival’s astronaut mascot. These skins showcase vibrant colors and also react to music.

The items will be on sale in the store from April 11 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT / 12 AM GMT until April 20 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT / 12 AM GMT.

In addition to the event-themed skin, the Fortnite x Coachella event will also debut a new J Balvin style known as the Inferno Skeleton Balvin Outfit. This outfit can be purchased individually or as part of a bundle from April 18 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT / 12 AM GMT until April 22 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT / 12 AM GMT.

Fortnite vs Apex Legends: Battle Royale Showdown

A new feature at this year’s Fortnite x Coachella event is Sahara Island, which was designed in collaboration with UEFN. This virtual location is inspired by the Sahara Tent at the actual festival and offers a fresh music and mini-game experience. Grimes and DJ Snake are set to take over the island during the event.

The Sahara Island will also feature a “Remix Room”for Coke Studio and a sound studio that will enable players to work together and produce their own music.
