As a result of an unusual crashing problem, the developers of Fortnite have deactivated the Yoda backbling that was included in the most recent Star Wars update.
The bundle centered around Luke Skywalker, priced at 1,800 V-Bucks, provides players with the Dagobah Luke outfit, designed in LEGO style, along with a Yoda backbling and Yoda’s Cane as a pickaxe.
After the update’s release, players who had the Yoda backbling equipped began experiencing game-breaking issues shortly after.
iFireMonkey, a popular Fortnite content creator and leaker, recently posted a video on Twitter showcasing a glitch that happens when players combine the Zoidberg Scuttle emote with Yoda’s backbling. The glitch causes Yoda’s face to become distorted and eventually crashes the game for the player.
Sometimes, the issue is not limited to the individual who bought the backbling. Other members of a Fortnite player’s team may also encounter a crash if their teammate experiences the same error.
If you do the Zoidberg Scuttle emote while wearing the Yoda backbling, there is a high chance that you will crash your game. This is due to Yodas face bugging out with the emote. There is also reports that this will crash people in your squads games as well pic.twitter.com/N0N5LLuIEp

Consequently, after this occurred, Epic Games decided to vault Fortnite’s Yoda backbling on the evening of May 7, as confirmed by a subsequent post from iFireMonkey. The duration of the content’s disabling is currently unknown.
It remains unclear how many people were affected by the issue before the development team addressed it. It seems that only those who had access to both the Zoidberg Scuttle emote and Yoda were impacted by the glitch.
Despite everything, Fortnite’s Star Wars content continues to thrive. The recent update introduced Blasters and Chewbacca’s weapon to the battle royale mode, as well as a challenging boss battle against Darth Vader where players can earn his powerful Lightsaber upon defeating him.
