Twitch streamer Frogan has issued a public apology following significant backlash for her inflammatory remarks regarding US troops during a live stream.
In mid-October, Frogan, who also serves as a moderator for well-known streamer Hasan, ignited controversy with her comments about US military personnel.
During the stream, she expressed a lack of sympathy for soldiers, stating her hope that they experience PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) upon their return.
She further added, “And I hope you get no health insurance when you get back to America.”
Her comments quickly went viral, prompting many to call for Twitch to take action against her, similar to the ban imposed on Asmongold for his discussion on Palestinian issues.
One user on social media questioned, “Twitch, you banned Asmongold, so I assume you’ll be consistent, right?”
Another user expressed frustration, stating, “Twitch bans people for completely trivial offenses. How is she still on the platform?”
Additional critics highlighted that Twitch’s community guidelines protect various characteristics, including “veteran status,” suggesting Frogan’s statements may have breached the platform’s policies against hateful conduct.

The community guidelines specifically state, “Twitch does not tolerate behavior motivated by hatred or intolerance, including acts of discrimination, harassment, or violence based on protected characteristics such as race, national origin, sex, disability, serious medical condition, and veteran status,” according to their policies.
In response to the growing backlash, Frogan took to X to clarify her remarks, asserting that she did not intend to target all military personnel.
“The beginning of the clip was poorly phrased, and for that, I apologize,” she stated. “I recognize that wishing harm upon anyone isn’t a constructive way to engage in these discussions, and I should have approached the topic with more care.”

As of now, Frogan’s Twitch channel remains active.
While Twitch has not made a specific statement about Frogan, they did address concerns regarding the enforcement of community guidelines in a statement released on October 20.
“We strive to apply our rules consistently and are actively reviewing content to enforce these guidelines wherever deemed necessary,” the platform noted, touching on issues related to user accessibility in certain regions.
