From Byeon Woo-seok to BLACKPINK’s Jisoo: Showbiz Stars Rally Behind Lee Hyeri for ‘Victory’

The VIP premiere of Victory, directed by Park Beom-soo, took place on August 5 at the CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

In a show of support for lead actress Lee Hyeri, her close friends, including Girl’s Day members Sojin, Yura, and Minah, as well as BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Byeon Woo-seok, were present at the event.

It is worth mentioning that Miyeon from (G)I-DLE made a surprise appearance in the end credits scene of Victory. Her attendance was thanks to her close relationship with Lee Hyeri, which garnered even more attention to her role in the film.

Lee Hyeri took to her social media to share a photo of herself holding a bouquet, accompanied by a heartfelt message expressing her gratitude for the overwhelming support. She also added that she felt blessed to be able to live such a fulfilling life.

Despite not physically attending the photo wall, Byeon Woo-seok expressed his support for Victory and Lee Hyeri through his social media by commenting, “It was such a blast.”This isn’t the first time Lee Hyeri and Byeon Woo-seok have collaborated, as they previously worked together on the 2022 KBS 2TV drama Moonshine.

Scheduled for release on August 14, Victory follows the journey of the Millennium Girls, a spirited amateur cheerleading squad known for their dynamic dances and uplifting songs that inspire and motivate others.

The movie showcases a cast of well-known actors, such as Lee Hyeri portraying Phil-seon, a passionate dancer; Park Se-wan as Mina, her fashion-focused kindred spirit; Lee Jungha as Chi-hyung, the goalkeeper for Geoje High School; and Jo A-ram as Se-hyun, the captain of the cheerleading team.
