fromis_9 Fans Show Support with Funeral Wreaths and Protest Trucks at HYBE Building

On June 3, a number of protest trucks and funeral wreaths were seen outside the HYBE building. These were sent by the devoted fans of fromis_9, who are tired of seeing their favorite girl group constantly mistreated.

Despite being a part of HYBE, fromis_9 has not released any new music in over a year. Meanwhile, other HYBE artists such as fellow Pledis groups SEVENTEEN and TWS are actively promoting with a variety of schedules. The situation has become so severe that even the members of fromis_9 have spoken out about the mistreatment they have faced, including being unable to make a comeback and being excluded from the company’s events.

Despite Pledis announcing a comeback for fromis_9 in August, fans are convinced that this decision was simply a way to repair any potential damage.

Consequently, they expressed their disappointment by sending funeral wreaths and staging protests, directly addressing Pledis and HYBE for a multitude of shortcomings. These included a decrease in the frequency and quality of official content, unexpected delays for comebacks, inadequate support during promotional activities, neglect towards overseas fandom, and frequent reuse of stage outfits.
