Fromis_9 achieved first place on “Music Core”for their song “Supersonic,”sparking a heated encounter between FLOVERs and ZEROSEs after ZB1 Gyuvin’s actions.

The August 24 episode of “Show! Music Core”on MBC showcased a lineup of top artists, including Taemin from SHINee, Hyolyn from SISTAR, and Moon Byul from MAMAMOO.

Additionally, various K-pop groups such as SF9, fromis_9, DRIPPIN, NMIXX, YOUNG POSSE, LIGHTSUM, LUN8, UNIS, and others graced the stage, showcasing their impressive comeback performances.

On this particular day, the top spot was fiercely contested by (G)I-DLE, KISS OF LIFE, and fromis_9. Ultimately, it was fromis_9 who emerged victorious with their latest song, “Supersonic”.

After the outcome was announced, MCs NMIXX Sullyoon, SF9 Chani, and ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) Gyuvin extended their congratulations to the girl group and requested them to deliver their acceptance speech.

The members were left in awe as Gyuvin abruptly halted his speech and proceeded to recite his lines from the script.

fromis_9 were left feeling confused, but Sullyoon, who noticed this, stepped in to help Gyuvin check his script. Meanwhile, Chani proceeded with wrapping up the segment.

Thankfully, the show concluded without any further conflicts, but the repercussions of Gyuvin’s actions persisted as the video of the incident spread across different online platforms.

On Instiz, both FLOVERs and netizens were shocked to witness Gyuvin constantly messing up his lines and making mistakes as an MC. There were even doubts about his hosting abilities, with discussions on whether he should take on such roles again.

Despite criticism from some fans, ZEROSEs came to the defense of the male idol, highlighting his potential and emphasizing that there is still room for growth. They urged K-pop fans to give him another opportunity.

Despite this, there were still some who were unwilling to accept this reasoning. This is because being an MC for a music show is a highly desirable role for new artists, leading internet users to strongly advocate for the position to be given to someone with the necessary skills.
