Frustration Among Pokemon Go Players Due to Missing Dragon Types in Collection Challenge

The Pokemon Go Ultra Space Wonders event includes a Collection Challenge that calls for three elusive Dragon types. Despite their availability in 3-Star Raids, players are struggling to locate them.

As the Ultra Space Wonders event approaches its end on May 28, 2024, in Pokemon Go, players are diligently working to complete the Collection Challenges offered during this thrilling event. While the majority of players have completed two of the Challenges, the third one, which centers on Dragon types, has proven to be quite challenging.

The assignment involves trainers capturing Druddigon, Deino, and Bagon, with the possibility of receiving a shiny Mareanie as a reward. However, despite the guarantee of these three Pokemon appearing in 3-Star Raids, they are extremely difficult to come across.

A Reddit user with the username ‘therealSteckel’ is among the trainers who are struggling to complete the Dragon-type Collection Challenge. In a post on the platform, they claimed that Deino Raids are a false concept created by Niantic, as they have been unable to find this elusive Dark/Dragon type despite their diligent attempts.

As Deino was not the only Dragon causing trouble, other players also hopped on the bandwagon and encountered similar issues with the Dragons.

“One person expressed their admiration for the Druddigon, stating that they had never seen one before and had not encountered it in any raid challenges. Another person shared a different experience, noting that they had not been able to find a single Bagon.”

Mareanie made its shiny debut during the Ultra Space Wonders event.

Despite searching on Campfire, fans were still unable to locate these Raids, indicating a troubling situation. Furthermore, some pointed out that while Bagon and Deino do occasionally appear in the wild, they are exceedingly uncommon, with Dratini being the most frequently encountered.

Some also noted that completing the ‘Catch a Dragon-type Pokemon’ Field Research task has a 1/3 chance of yielding a Bagon, while Dratini and Axew are the other two potential encounters. However, obtaining Deino is not possible through this task and Druddigon is only available through raids. All three Dragon types are necessary to successfully complete the Challenge.

Make sure to evolve Bagon and Deino into Salamence and Hydreigon, respectively, if you manage to catch them. These two Pokemon are considered to be among the strongest Pseudo Legendaries in Pokemon Go.
