Despite the start of a new Season in Pokemon Go, the events continue to showcase repetitive spawns, causing trainers to feel frustrated and angry.
Despite the launch of the Shared Skies Season, the Stadium Sights event hosted by Pokemon Go has been met with a lukewarm response from players. Many have dismissed it as most of the spawns were not particularly exciting or unique compared to previous events.
The community appears to have grown tired of encountering the same Pokemon, such as Pawmi, Lickitung, and Hitmontop, in the wild and in Eggs over the past few months, in addition to the more common ones found in the Kanto region.
After ‘AdmirableElderberry9′ posted on Reddit about their least favorite Pokemon to encounter or evolve, numerous trainers also shared their choices, which coincidentally were the same ones that appeared frequently.

Immediately, fans began criticizing Gen 2 Fighting-type Hitmontop, which they had previously bashed for its unsettling animation, challenging capture process, and lack of usefulness in the meta.
Some other Fighting types, such as Mankey, Machop, Sawk, and Throh, have been present for several months. However, unlike Hitmontop, they are at least useful in the Go Battle League, making them less troublesome.
Despite the consensus that Hitmontop was not worth the trouble, a number of trainers also expressed frustration with certain Gen 1 Pokemon that they deemed “useless.”One trainer complained about constantly encountering annoying Ekans, Koffing, and Zubat, particularly during the Rediscover campaign in Pokemon Go, where Kanto Pokemon were largely ignored.
Other species that were heavily criticized by trainers include Lickitung and Pawmi. This is due to their abundance and frequent appearance as 5km Egg hatches. Furthermore, their lack of usefulness in PvP or Raids has caused many to become tired of encountering them, with some even claiming that it negatively impacts their experience.
Players of Pokemon Go have exciting new spawns to anticipate in upcoming events such as Slumbering Sands, Goomy Community Day, and Go Fest 2024.
