FT Island’s Choi Min-hwan Recalls His Wedding with Ex-wife Yulhee: Did I Do That?

FT Island members were recently featured as the inaugural guests on KBS2’s “The Seasons – Zico’s Artist,”which premiered on July 26th.

In this episode, Zico, the host, was joined by FT Island’s Lee Jae-jin, Lee Hong-ki, and Choi Min-hwan who were sitting side by side. Zico expressed his happiness at meeting Min-hwan, who is the same age as him, and asked how long it had been since they last saw each other. Choi replied that it had been about six years and Zico then asked if he remembered their last encounter. Choi quickly responded, “In 2018…”causing Zico to look embarrassed as he realized his mistake.

Despite the silence lingering, Lee Hong-ki spoke up, “There’s no reason to avoid talking about it. After all, it’s your wedding. You two did meet at a wedding, right? It’s completely fine.” Choi Min-hwan, pretending to cry, playfully added, “Was it my doing?” which elicited laughter from everyone.

Zico inquired, “It’s been a while since we last saw each other, right?”and Choi Min-hwan followed up with, “Have you missed me?”Zico responded, “I’ve missed you a lot,”but Choi playfully teased him by saying, “You have a habit of changing your number frequently.”

After Zico’s explanation, Choi Min-hwan asked, “But why don’t you contact me?”Zico quickly resolved the situation by saying, “Anyway, it’s great to see you all like this.”The members of FT Island also expressed their gratitude, saying, “It’s an honor for us as well.”Zico clarified, “Although things keep changing for me, I still have Min-hwan’s number and did not intentionally change it.”
