Exciting developments are brewing in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, with plot twists revealing that after a fierce confrontation against one of the Shinju, Gaara has been sealed away by his son to safeguard the future of the Hidden Sand Village. This striking turn of events mirrors the fate of the Seventh Hokage, who was similarly sealed by a family member.

Gaara’s Fate: Sealed Away Like Naruto in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15

Chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex opens with a flashback to Gaara’s battle against Matsuri, one of Moegi’s Shinju, as he strives to protect the next generation of the Hidden Sand Village. When Matsuri is unable to handle the situation, she attempts to push the young shinobi outside her influence; however, Shinki, Gaara’s adopted son, refuses to allow his father to perish.

In an instant, he harnesses his Magnet Release chakra and encases Gaara in an Iron Sand Prison. Tragically, while this occurs, Shinki finds himself absorbed by a Claw Grime, transforming into a chakra tree that leads to the emergence of Ryu. Nevertheless, Shinki’s Iron Sand Prison remains secure.

In a prior episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, specifically chapter 77, Kawaki cannot bear to witness his savior’s demise at the hands of Boruto, who is under Momoshiki’s control. Consequently, he returns home and seals Naruto and Hinata in a different dimension, intending to handle Momoshiki so that Naruto is safe from death.

Thus, in chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, both Naruto and Gaara experience a shared fate. Ironically, the leaders of the Hidden Sand Village (Kazekage) and the Hidden Leaf Village (Hokage) remain sealed in alternate dimensions, despite their villages’ pressing needs for their guidance. Furthermore, the shared pasts of the boys who confined their loved ones offer a striking resemblance.

Shinki’s capture by the Hidden Leaf Village occurred during a chaotic state in which he posed a danger to Gaara. In a display of compassion, the Kazekage embraced Shinki, offering assistance and, ultimately, adopting him to guide him in mastering his rare kekkei genkai.

In a similar vein, Kawaki was rescued from his abusive father by Jigen, who subjected him to relentless experiments throughout his childhood. In a bid for freedom, Kawaki attempted to escape during transport, only to be intercepted by Hidden Leaf shinobi who brought him to Naruto.

Despite Kawaki’s prior defiance, Naruto reassured him of his safety, providing a paternal figure’s love. In response to the threats against their saviors, both Kawaki and Shinki resort to extreme measures to repay their debts.

Concluding Thoughts

Kawaki managed to seal Naruto in a void, ensuring that the Hokage remains unchanged in age despite the time skip. Conversely, Gaara is sealed on Earth, implying that his physical age may continue to progress. While this distinction might seem minute at first glance, it could have significant implications for the series following the eventual unsealing of both village leaders.
